Kip Odell has worked with all types of agricultural machinery since he was a young boy. After graduating from high school, he worked in the machinery rigging industry for seven years, moving all types of industrial machinery. In 1996, Kip became a partner in Leeward Construction, where he was Fleet Maintenance Manager overseeing construction equipment valued in excess of $15 million dollars. As Fleet manager, he was responsible for the acquisition, preventative maintenance, repair and disposal of all types of construction equipment, trucks, stone quarries and asphalt plants.

Kip is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) from the American Society of Appraisers, a Certified Equipment Appraiser (CEA) from the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers, a Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser, a Certified Senior Appraiser (CSA) from Equipment Appraisers Association of North America, (CMEA) from the NEBB Institute, and has a professional designation as a Senior Business Analyst (SBA) from the International Society of Business Analysts. In addition, he has a Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) certification and has completed management courses at Penn State University.
